LaKirah Kincy is a native of Tampa, Florida – moved to Miami, Florida to attend Florida International University (FIU) where she studied criminal justice. After graduating in 2010 from FIU, Ms. Kincy started law school in 2016 as a part-time night student while working full-time. While attending Thomas M. Cooley Law School, she became a member of Phi Delta Phi National Legal Honor Society. Ms. Kincy won the school Moot Court Competition and later became a Moot Court Board Member.
Prior to joining Shelton McKean LaKirah was an associate in the Construction department at Cole, Scott & Kissane. LaKirah also represented indigent individuals in dependency cases with The Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel sitting as first chair in many bench trials.
