Nick Encinas

Biography

Nick Encinas was born in Michigan, but grew up in Ocala, Florida. He moved to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida, majoring in Political Science. After graduating from USF, Mr. Encinas obtained his Juris Doctor from The University of Florida, Levin College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Encinas gained valuable skills as a Certified Legal Intern for the Family Advocacy and Gator TeamChild clinics.

Prior to joining Shelton McKean, Mr. Encinas worked as an Assistant State Attorney in the Sixth Judicial Circuit, where he gained extensive experience in the courtroom. There, he handled a variety of misdemeanor and felony cases, ranging from Battery to Grand Theft Motor Vehicle.

Mr. Encinas now focuses on using his skillset and experience to serve his clients in insurance defense. On his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the movies, and trying new food.
