Grant Preston

Biography

Grant is a native of Florida and received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Florida before he attended Stetson University College of Law. There he graduated with honors and received his Juris Doctor after serving as Executive Editor of the Stetson Law Review and as a teaching assistant in criminal law. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in March 2024.

Prior to entering private practice, Grant served as an assistant state attorney, where he handled hundreds of county criminal and juvenile matters through all phases of criminal litigation, including five non-jury trials. Before his law career began, Grant spent two years as a Catholic missionary serving college students at Tulane University in New Orleans.

As an associate with Shelton | McKean, Grant’s practice focuses on civil litigation concerning motor vehicle negligence, premises liability, and municipal liability.
