Sean Conahan

Biography

Mr. Conahan was born in Wilkes-Bare, Pennsylvania. After serving 5 years in the United States Air Force, Mr. Conahan was Honorably Discharged in 1991 and has resided in Pinellas County, Florida ever since. Upon his discharge from the United States Air Force, Mr. Conahan served as a state-certified municipal police officer in the third largest city in Pinellas County. While serving as a police officer, Mr. Conahan completed his undergraduate degree in criminology at the University of South Florida. Wanting to pursue a career in Law, Mr. Conahan left his position as a police officer and pursued his law degree full-time, obtaining his Juris Doctor degree in 2000 from Stetson University College of Law.

Mr. Conahan began his legal career in 2001, developing a practice defending individuals and businesses in personal injury claims, defending government entities and individual police officers in injury and civil rights claims, and defending trucking companies and their drivers. He has also defended insurance carriers in first-party claims, and several large corporations. Mr. Conahan spent the last twelve years with a well-respected statewide civil defense firm as a litigation partner and has been lead trial counsel on numerous trials throughout the state.

Now a member of Shelton McKean with more than 20 years of defense experience, Mr. Conahan continues to defend law enforcement, governmental entities, individuals, businesses, and the trucking industry.
