Kelly Green
Biography
Kelly Green was born and raised on a small barrier island in Southwest Florida. Ms. Green graduated magna cum laude from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2011 and went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law. At Stetson, Ms. Green was actively involved in campus life as a law school ambassador, student government committee chair, and member of the Student Bar Association. She was awarded the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award and was one of only two law students recognized by the Sixth Judicial Circuit for outstanding pro bono service.
Since her admission to the Florida Bar in 2015, Ms. Green dedicated her practice to the insurance industry, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation. Before joining Shelton McKean, she practiced at a prominent insurance defense firm, where she specialized in property law and navigating intricate insurance coverage issues. Ms. Green has been recognized by Super Lawyers Rising Star and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America.
Outside of her legal career, Ms. Green enjoys spending time with her husband, son and dog.
